With the keep I saw the cover picture and thought about this creature. The story I created was that this creature waited in the dark for certain souls to pass. When the right one came along bearing the energy that it needed to survive it took the soul and added it to their collection. It was a keeper of souls. The souls also drained them as it wasn't theirs to keep. So in this instance the creature is starving and is waiting for more. A dark, experimental piece.
